Purple Spotted Swallowtail (Graphium weiskei) & Violet Daggerwing (Marpesia marcella)

This pair is one of our most popular that we offer for several reasons! The main attraction is, of course, the wonderful purples; however, the amount of colors offered in this display is amazing. Orange, blue, green, brown, black... Lovely! Both butterflies have tails, but both are also so very different in shape. The Purple Spotted Swallowtail is matte in color, while the Violet Daggerwing has an iridescence to it. Really, we could go on and on about how amazing this pairing is!
