Both sides of this day flying moth are beautiful. There's also quite a bit of variety in this species so they definitely don't all look the same. Origin: Arfak & Papua New Guinea.
Due to the size of the body of this day moth, when the underside is displayed in the riker mount the cotton backing will be removed and the moth will be glued to the cardboard backing to allow room for the large body. The upperside will be displayed normally: pressed against cotton.
