Dried, unspread beetles for sale. To position the legs, antenna, shell and wings, simply place the beetles upside down in a closed tupperware in very hot water for a few hours until soft. Then position the legs as you like and hold them in place with supporting pins. Allow a day or two to dry. The shell can be cracked open like a car hood and the large wings can be pulled out and held in place with pins below the main veins.
