We absolutely love this butterfly. Its black coloring is pure black which is very rare amongst butterflies. It's orange coloring is very bright and the contrast to the black is spectacular. It also has a little bit of a cool blue coloring on the sides of the wings. The picture above makes the orange look a little more reddish than it actually is but rest assured this is an orange spotted butterfly. Origin: South America. This butterfly is available in a Custom 6x7 display.

- All butterfly pictures are real pictures taken by ButterflyUtopia.com with a digital camera. The backgrounds and shadows have been whitened out. Our goal with our pictures is to make the butterflies look as close as possible to the real thing, we don't artificially brighten up our pictures to make them look unrealisticly colorful. When you receive our products we want your butterflies to look like our butterfly pictures. However, a number of these butterflies are very difficult to photograph, some of actually change color depending on the angle of the light. Pictures of the acrylic cases are taken at an angle to avoid glare. The pictures have also been optimized to speed download times, slightly reducing clarity.
